Executive Advisory & Accountability

Three Signs You Might Benefit From an Advisor

It's rarely about capability. It's about what running the business crowds out.

In my experience, the leaders who get the most from executive advisory support tend to share a few common characteristics.

First, they're good at what they do. They've built something real. But they're honest enough to know that what got them here may not be enough to get them where they want to go next.

Second, they're time-poor in the ways that matter most. Not because they're inefficient — but because the day-to-day demands of running a business consistently crowd out the strategic thinking the business needs.

Third, they want a sounding board they can trust completely. Not someone who tells them what they want to hear. Someone who tells them what they need to hear.

If any of those resonate, it might be worth a conversation. I work with a small number of owners, CEOs and leadership teams at any one time, across New Zealand and internationally. The focus is always on what actually moves the business forward — strategy, performance, leadership, and the decisions that matter most.
