How aligning a misaligned leadership team delivered $11.4M in marginal gains without a major restructure.

One of the most rewarding engagements I've been involved in didn't start with a growth ambition.
It started with a leadership team of an 'Alliance' that was pulling in different directions. The organisation was operationally capable. Technically strong. But the senior team wasn't aligned — and that misalignment was costing them in ways they hadn't fully quantified.
We worked on organisational effectiveness. Culture. The operating model. How decisions were made and by whom.
We found the value in the gaps between functions. In the processes no one owned. In the decisions that were being delayed or avoided.
The result was $11.4 million USD in marginal gains. Not through a major restructure or a dramatic strategic pivot. Through getting the leadership team aligned, removing the friction, and focusing on what actually mattered.
Most organisations I work with aren't underperforming because they lack talent or opportunity. They're underperforming because of misalignment — between people, priorities and purpose. Fix that, and the results tend to take care of themselves.
